Designed by creatively pattern cutting with shapes taken from iconography of the Scottish Witch Trails and incorporates external workwear pocket bags as a detail adding to the layered silhouette.

Front detailing inspired by 16th century tie on pockets.

Triangular shaped D-ring with strap and multiple button fastenings allow for multiple size options at the waistband.

Patchwork Sashiko Tabard

The design and composition of patchwork was formed through a group research groups of hand stitching women coming together in a community stitch and ideas session

The silhouette taken from a workwear pocket bag, illustrating the concept of drawing the eye to the unseen details within clothing

Workwear Dungaree

The asymmetrical, pleated dungaree with detachable workwear pocket

Initially designed by enlarging a boxy bellows pocket, the latest iteration of the design is a much more wearable and functional version of the previously abstract design, championing the purpose of workwear

Sashiko stitched re-enforcement triangles cover and protect vulnerable areas near fastenings and openings

Drawn Thread Bib Shirt


100% linen

Made from up cycled vintage embroidered table cloth. The subtle silhouette is created with a bib flap inspired by the historical reference of women’s tie on pockets

Wool Triangle Tabard

Made with dead stock, recycled wool

The shape comes from draping three huge triangles taken from iconography of the Scottish Witch Trails. Details include triangular D-rings as fastenings at the neck and waste.

A wide leg lightweight jumpsuit with a nod to historical lines and a Sashiko gather stitch detail
